When your home sells unexpectedly there is only one thing left to do – find your dream home at RV Homebase.

And for Shaun and Denise Jaques that is exactly what they did.

The couple’s home in Burrum River sold after they received a knock on the door from a real estate agent seeking a property to buy for a client.

Luckily they had recently been to view the progress at RV Homebase during an Open Day, falling in love with a ready-designed home in Stage 7.

“We saw this home design and how well it would suit our lifestyle, so we went for it!” Shaun said.

After deciding on the finer details of their home, the couple moved into their daughter’s residence in Maryborough while the 12 week building process commenced.

“Everything proceeded smoothly and promptly. There were no dramas – in fact, it was drama-less!” Shaun said.

The home is a Tamar design situated on a corner block, with both north and west facing patios, and a large grassy area for their beloved dog, Fudge.

“We have the most spectacular breeze that funnels through our kitchen and open plan living during the day, keeping everything nice a cool,” Denise said.

Since moving to RV Homebase, the couple have enjoyed many Happy Hours, pizza nights and movie nights.

“I have started water aerobics and Shaun is looking into joining a few of the projects going on around the Village,” Denise said.

“We just love it here – the people with similar interests and the friends we have already made, it has just been a fantastic experience so far.”
